Computer science and coding skills are quite possibly one of the most in-demand skills employers are looking for, so it’s no surprise that plenty of companies are constantly looking for ways to develop a pipeline of new talent from Computer Science Students. One Stop Scholarship
Open to students who live within a 2 mile radius of a One Stop store in England or Wales in an area which has a high level of financial, social or economic deprivation. You must have an offer to study a Technology related degree at University. You will have attended a state school and are the first in your family to go to university.
Women in Tech University Scholarship
Open to UK female students currently studying for A-levels in year 13 who are considering a career in technology. You should be aiming to study computer science or a related subject at a top university and living within commuting distance of Knutsford. You will be expecting AAA grades or better at A-level.
Amazon Future Engineer Bursary
Open to UK female students currently studying at least one A-level (or equivalent) in a STEM subject and have an offer to study a Computer Science or related Engineering course at university. You must also have been eligible for free school meals from the date you started your post-16 studies and/or have at least one parent or guardian in receipt of state benefits (not child benefit if this is the only benefit being received).
Google Europe Scholarship for students with disabilities
7,000 Euros for students with disabilities who are studying Computer Science at any university and who can demonstrate strong academic and leadership skills as well as a passion for computing and technology.
IET Diamond Scholarships
Entrants will need to have achieved ABB grades at A-level; must be embarking upon an IET accredited programme Honours course (that is not funded by the NHS). Eligible subjects include Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic & electrical engineering, Engineering, Materials technology not otherwise specified, Mechanical engineering, Technologies.
IET Horizons Bursary
The IET Horizons Bursary scheme is available to anyone on an IET approved apprenticeship or at University studying an IET accredited course. The bursary is available to those who may experience or have experienced financial difficulties and personal obstacles.
AIAS Foundation Scholarships
Applicants to the AIAS Foundation Scholarship must intend to pursue a career in any aspect of game development including but not limited to: art, animation, programming, engineering, game direction, game design, sound design, law, marketing, and business administration. Video game early professionals and recent graduates within their first 2 years in the industry can also apply. Open to students at accredited universities around the world.
